We are thrilled to announce our next event!
THE Somm SLAM!!!
The SLAM is an interactive wine dinner where we invite a Sommelier/Wine Professional to go head-to-head in a food and wine pairing competition with our very own Somm, Mindy Lopus, and where YOU, our guests, are the judges.
Each Somm selects one wine to go with each course, the wines are poured blind to our guests and at each course votes are tallied to see which pairing you think works the best! Frankly it’s a HOOT of an event, so get ready for the smack talk and smackdown!
We are even more excited that our very first guest Somm (I.e. victim) is Dan Reinisch, Beverage Director at SheWolf in Detroit! Dan is a wine afficionado and talented wine professional (and heck of a fun guy) that started his career behind the bar, followed his love for wine and has honed his craft as a wine professional! Dan is a talented Somm who curates an incredible all Italian wine list at one of our very favorite award-winning Detroit restaurants!
